Virtual reality applications
Impressive trade fair presentations – an absolute must these days if you want to stand out from the crowd of exhibitors. The company Cteam decided to do this and so we worked with them to create a VR application for a playful demonstration of the service areas.
In the scene we created, an electricity pylon falls down due to a storm and an entire region is cut off from the power supply. Cteam receives a call and arrives with a crane and a truck and reaches a temporary access road with an assembly area at the scene of the accident. The trucks then arrive at the construction site and the VR users can interactively assemble components and supply the region with electricity again using the temporary pylons that have been erected. Explanatory detailed animations and functionalities are shown as a technical supplement to the VR scene.
An absolute experience for trade fair visitors – put on VR goggles and you are standing on the Cteam construction site and can lend a hand yourself. The VR user experiences the service areas and work processes immersively and immediately associates the trade fair visit with a positive experience.
So what are you waiting for – get an insight for yourself, even without VR glasses.
After the success of the VR application at the trade fair in 2019, it was clear to Cteam that an innovative demonstration of the range of services should also take place in 2020. This year, a VR application will be available to trade fair visitors. They can choose between 2 VR scenes. There is a choice between an accident and an intersection safety scene.
The helicopter arrives at the construction site’s mobile assembly area and picks up the first high-voltage line. It then flies over the line crossing and secures the line on another mobile assembly area. A safety net is adapted to the corresponding work step to secure the crossing. The VR user can intuitively carry out all work steps one after the other and becomes part of an immersive experience.
We had great fun providing technical support for this VR application and are delighted that we were once again able to support Cteam with an impressive trade fair appearance.
A technical highlight is that the application can be played on both wired and wireless VR glasses.
