A virtual journey of pleasure through space and time.
Eat me Up!
An innovative 360° project that won the “Land schreibt Zukunft” ideas competition organized by the German government’s Council for Sustainable Development out of a total of 200 projects in collaboration with the town of Leutkirch and the University of Freiburg.
We were able to take over the complete programming of the technical platform as well as the creation of the complete image and video material for the 14 different scenes.
By means of a 360° walk, it is possible to experience the current diversity of food production in and around the town of Leutkirch im Allgäu using VR glasses or a smartphone and PC.
A special highlight is the additional information and insights into the production environment provided by interactive buttons.
Let’s go – taste the special products of our region:
Organic meets robot at the Merk farm. Follow the cows into the milking robot, greet the goats in the barn or watch the free-range chickens. Here, animal welfare goes hand in hand with state-of-the-art technology.
At the countrywomen’s party service, traditional recipes are cooked with regional and fresh ingredients. You can try the traditional wedding soup and the classic Kässpätzle.
The Herre butcher’s shop will take you through the forest and to the hunter’s stand. Did you know that the hunter’s job is essential for a healthy and balanced wildlife population and biodiversity in the forest?
Delicious organic vegetables grow and thrive at the Reutlinger vegetable farm. To guarantee the taste of their products, people, plants, animals and soil work together in a closed nutrient cycle.
Valuable meat from happy cows is available to buy at the Weipo farm. All the animals here are fed with their own grass and hay. The home-grown products can then be purchased at the farm shop.
Meat and milk are always served together at the table. In this way, you enable your animals to lead a dignified life and together you can offer good organic products directly from your farms.
A big thank you to the little hummers from the Leutkirch Beekeepers’ Association. They are such a big part of our functioning food system. What would we do without them?
Following a long tradition, beer is brewed from regional raw materials at the Härle brewery. A truly sustainable treat for beer and juice spritzer lovers.
In the Fairteiler, leftover food from regional supermarkets, farmers and bakers is saved and shared with local people.
Every day, Franz from the Wandinger bakery bakes fresh pastries from his own ground flour using regional organic grains. This is not only healthy for your tummy, but also crucial for the delicious taste.
The Flecks produce their milk, yogurt and cream in the farm’s own dairy. Herbert and his employees work so diligently that over 20 villages are supplied with his fresh and regional dairy products from the farm.
The Allgäu Genussmanufaktur. A cooperative project where you can look directly over the shoulders of regional businesses and craftsmen. A truly special shopping experience – here you will find producers and regional products in one place.
Leutkirch yesterday and today. Take a trip back in time and take a look at the taverns, the market and the cattle market. It’s well worth it.
We are proud to have been able to make our contribution to this great project and think it’s worth taking a virtual trip to Leutkirch.
